To kick off the national campaign, Budweiser and Lyft have teamed up to offer up to 80,000 safe rides home at peak party times on weekend and holiday nights to consumers 21+ in select cities. Budweiser and Lyft teamed on Anheuser-Busch’s seventh annual Global Beer Responsible Day to offer up to 80,000 safe rides home on weekend and holiday nights through the end of the year in New York, Colorado, Florida and Illinois. Anheuser-Busch employees volunteer in New York on Global Beer Responsible Day to kick off a new partnership between Budweiser and Lyft. Now through the end of the year, consumers who #GiveADamn can take a safe Lyft ride home during peak party times. Budweiser and Lyft’s partnership is the next step in Budweiser’s longstanding commitment to promoting alcohol responsibility. This campaign marks the largest partnership of its kind between a beverage and ridesharing company aimed at reducing drunk driving. Over the past 30 years, Anheuser-Busch and its wholesaler partners have invested more than $1 billion in the US to promote alcohol responsibility.
