Always great to photograph new spaces for the NYRP team, and even better when I bump into a few gardeners

Iona Graduation Photographer
It’s hard to say what my favorite thing to shoot is, but I do know this, I love having an assignment that has no preconceived parameters. “Just capture the emotion” is about all of the direction I got from Iona. So the ability to walk around and just shoot for fun, and get the feel of an event is always the best. I didn’t expect to see so many decorated graduation caps, but I loved capturing them in photos.

Working on more Video Projects
I’ve been shooting videos for clients for a couple of years, but often I’m handing over the editing or not being completely involved in all aspects of production. This is my first full shoot and edit solo and I’m pretty happy with the result. Theres definitely more work to be done and more learning always, but thats the joy of learning new skills. With my drone footage and a couple of well placed mics, I think it all came together pretty well.

New York Restoration Project Community Gardens in the Snow
Drone photography at sunset in Westchester, New York
Drone Photography in the snow
Snow is always a good excuse to get the drone out, but with a travel advisory in place, it didn’t feel safe to drive anywhere. Sometimes you have a great photograph right in front of you, our maybe right below you. Photograph taken by a DJI Mini 2 in Westchester, New York.
Ariel Photography at Bathgate Community Gardens
Theres nothing better than some great light, a light dusting of some snow and a scenic view. I’m not sure I quite got the scenic view, but the whole point of a NYC community garden is that it provides a patch of green for the city. You can even see the new mural that must have gone up in the past few weeks.
