9/11 Memorial and Museum Photography

Today the 9/11 Memorial marks the 19th anniversary of the end of the rescue and recovery period at Ground Zero. At 9:30 a.m. they held a special commemorative moment on the 9/11 Memorial Glade to honor all the rescue, recovery and relief workers and those who are sick or have died from 9/11-related illnesses.

Bluestone Lane at Battery Park

Bluestone Lane opened a brand new store in Battery Park and I was blown away by the size and design of the space. The food is always on point with that awesome Aussie hospitality and killer flat whites. One of my all time favorite clients to shoot food and interior photographs for.

Shot with a Sony Alpha 1 and Sigma 24-70mm 2.8 Lens.

Times Square Billboard Photography at Nasdaq Closing Bell

It’s always great to photograph the closing bell at both the New York Stock Exchange and the Nasdaq in New York City, Unfortunately so many of those opportunities have become virtual. Thankfully I was hired by a marketing PR firm to document the exterior facade of the Nasdaq as a company rings the closing bell virtually. Its such an awesome thing to be in Times Square photographing an event again. To book me for closing bell photography at either Nasdaq or the New York Stock Exchange please email me.

In the city that never sleeps, every event is a tapestry woven with threads of ambition, celebration, and collaboration. As professional event planners and photographers navigate this concrete jungle, let's delve into the nuances of event photography in New York City—uncovering the often overlooked, yet essential, aspects that make each click resonate with the city's heartbeat.

The Realities of Event Photography in NYC:

In a city as diverse and dynamic as New York, event photography is more than capturing smiles and clinking glasses; it's about understanding the pulse of the occasion and preserving the unique energy that defines the Big Apple. Here are some compelling statistics and insights tailored for professionals in the event planning and photography realm:

  1. Event Density in NYC:

    • According to a report by Eventbrite, New York City hosts an average of 500 events per day. From corporate conferences to intimate soirées, the city's event landscape is a thriving ecosystem. For event planners, this means navigating through a sea of opportunities and challenges.
