Some friends of mine started working at a Pizzeria in Brooklyn that happens to be ranked best Pizza in New York City according to a Zagat readers poll. Paulie Gee was impressed with my photo of Jason, and was happy to spend some time with me for a few portraits, and then fed me some of his incredible pie. I was surprised to find out that he was and SVA alum and knew quite a bit about photography. There's something about making these Pizza house portraits Black and White that makes sense to me. (It was just about the darkest room I've ever shot in. Everything is either shot at F1.4 on my Leica M240 or 8000 ISO on my Canon 1DX)
