Photographing the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) always brings back so many memories having been the in house photographer there for nearly 5 years.

I nearly always try and get to a city a little early to explore a new place and take some time to make photographs for myself, rather than working solidly and never having any recreation time.
All photos shot with the Fujifilm GFX50R and GF45mm F2.8 Lens at the Lincoln Memorial
Traveling to Washington DC is so easy with the express Acela train, that covering a conference there is a pleasure. Being a Washington DC based photographer seems a little too political or news based for me, but traveling to cover a conference is always a nice change of pace from working in NY.
All photos take with the Sony A9 and Sony 70-200mm F2.8 Lens at Convene in Arlington, Virginia

After photographing over a thousand opening and closing bells at the New York Stock Exchange, its always a pleasure to cover an opening bell ceremony at either market place, NYSE or Nasdaq. They always manage to run a very well oiled machine at Nasdaq in Times Square. The event team and photographer are both calm and efficient and are very welcoming to an additional photographer to photograph the opening bell ceremony

The inaugural fundraising event celebrating 15 years of collaboration between Stone Barns Center and Blue Hill through an interactive, roving meal. A feast of small bites, shared items, plated dishes, and beverages by Blue Hill at Stone Barns. It was great to photograph the unique relationship between field and kitchen with farmers and chefs.
