Today the 9/11 Memorial marks the 19th anniversary of the end of the rescue and recovery period at Ground Zero. At 9:30 a.m. they held a special commemorative moment on the 9/11 Memorial Glade to honor all the rescue, recovery and relief workers and those who are sick or have died from 9/11-related illnesses.

NYRP Sherman Creek Video
Working as a photographer has been my main source of income for the past 15 years, but recently I’ve really focused on making moving images, or videos and I’m so happy that NYRP have asked for more content like this. Setting up a Sony A9 in Sherman Creek with a lavalier microphone and a small DJI Mini 2 drone is really all I need to shoot this content. If you need a quick short for social media or to promote you’re brand I’d love to work on it.

Working on more Video Projects
I’ve been shooting videos for clients for a couple of years, but often I’m handing over the editing or not being completely involved in all aspects of production. This is my first full shoot and edit solo and I’m pretty happy with the result. Theres definitely more work to be done and more learning always, but thats the joy of learning new skills. With my drone footage and a couple of well placed mics, I think it all came together pretty well.

NYRP Yoshino Cherry Blossoms near the Harlem River
New York Restoration Project does so many cool projects in the city, it’s hard to keep track. Seeing these incredible Japanese cherry blossoms along the highway is just one of the amazing changes they’ve made to the city.

Bluestone Lane at Battery Park
Bluestone Lane opened a brand new store in Battery Park and I was blown away by the size and design of the space. The food is always on point with that awesome Aussie hospitality and killer flat whites. One of my all time favorite clients to shoot food and interior photographs for.
