NYSE Photography - Venu IPO
Shooting the Venu IPO at the NYSE was an exciting return to familiar ground for me, having worked there every day as the house photographer for years. Armed with my Canon R3, I captured everything from the buzz on the trading floorto the big moment at the bell-ringing ceremony. The fast autofocus and high-speed shooting of the R3 made it easy to keep up with the action, whether it was executives celebrating, traders reacting, or the company’s logo lighting up the iconic NYSE screens. I switched between a wide-angle lens for the sweeping energy of the floor and a telephoto lens to get tight shots of leadership. The NYSE lighting can be tricky, but knowing the space so well, I adjusted my ISO, shutter speed, and aperture on the fly to keep everything crisp. Later, I fine-tuned the shots in Lightroom and Photoshop, making sure Venu had stunning images for their press releases, social media, and investor relations. See more photos here and here
If you need a photographer for your IPO at Nasdaq or the NYSE please let me know. I have covered hundreds of IPO’s at the New York Stock Exchange and dozens at the Nasdaq Market Place in Times Square.

Fox Sports at the Giants Game
Chat GPT says…
Photographing the Fox Sports presenters at a Giants game was an unforgettable experience. Capturing the energy of the game while focusing on the charisma and precision of the on-air talent gave me a unique perspective on live sports broadcasting.
The key was to keep up with their dynamic movements and expressions. Whether they were reacting to the action on the field, delivering expert commentary, or interacting with guests, each moment required sharp focus and perfect timing. I worked quickly to ensure I wasn’t just documenting the presentation but highlighting the personalities and emotions that make these broadcasters so engaging for the viewers.
Lighting in a stadium can be tricky, especially when you're focused on indoor set-ups that transition from day to night. Ensuring their faces were well-lit against the backdrop of the stadium added a dramatic yet authentic feel to the shots. It was all about capturing them at their best while still honoring the spirit of the game.
This was more than just taking photos – it was about documenting the pulse of sports television and showcasing the Fox Sports team at the heart of it all.

NYBG Wonderland: Curious Nature
NYBG Photographer for the “Wonderland: Curious Nature” Exhibit at the New York Botanical Gardens
Being the photographer for the New York Botanical Garden (NYBG) has been such an incredible journey. The beauty of the gardens speaks for itself, but having the opportunity to capture that beauty through my lens is truly something special. From the vibrant flowers in full bloom to the serene landscapes, every corner of the garden offers something new and inspiring.
What I love most about photographing at NYBG is how the gardens change with the seasons. Whether it’s the rich colors of fall, the fresh blooms of spring, or the winter stillness, there’s always something magical to capture. Plus, there are always exciting events happening, like seasonal exhibits, workshops, and festivals. Each one offers a unique opportunity to document the ways people interact with the space and the natural world.
It’s also amazing to see how the staff at NYBG works tirelessly to maintain and grow such a breathtaking environment. They really put their heart and soul into preserving these gardens, and being able to photograph that dedication is something I value deeply.
All in all, photographing at NYBG is more than just a job—it’s a chance to experience and share the incredible connection people have with nature right here in the heart of the city.
Indian Cricketer Jasprit Bumrah in Queens, NY
Indian Cricketer Jasprit Burma plays with the NFL.
As a huge fan of Indian cricket, it was an absolute thrill to have the chance to photograph one of my all-time favorites, Jasprit Bumrah, in Queens, NY. Watching him bowl on the field is an experience in itself—his precision, focus, and incredible skill have made him one of the best fast bowlers in the world. But capturing him off the field, through the lens of my camera, was an entirely different level of excitement.
Bumrah's intensity and charisma translate not just on the pitch, but in the moments in between as well. It was fascinating to see his persona in such a relaxed setting, which gave me the chance to capture his true essence. Whether it was his focused gaze or his quick smile, every moment felt like an opportunity to snap something special.
Queens, with its vibrant mix of cultures and energy, was the perfect backdrop for this incredible experience. The connection the local community had with Bumrah was palpable, and I felt so fortunate to be there to document it. From the eager fans looking for a glimpse of their hero to Bumrah's relaxed demeanor as he interacted with everyone, it was a unique moment in time.
I’ve always been passionate about cricket and, specifically, Indian cricket, so having the chance to photograph someone like Bumrah in such a personal way was truly a dream come true. It’s experiences like these that make me grateful to be a photographer, especially when I get to merge my love for the sport with my work.
The Belmont Stakes Races in Saratoga for Fox Sports
Belmont Stakes in Saratoga for Fox Sports
Photographing the Belmont Stakes was definitely an exciting experience, even though I’m not exactly a sports photographer! I usually focus more on events and portraits, so getting into the fast-paced world of horse racing was a bit of a shift for me. But it turned out to be such a fun challenge.
I had to adjust quickly to the action, trying to keep up with the horses as they flew by at full speed. Honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect—I'm used to working with people in a more controlled environment, but this was all about capturing those split-second moments of excitement, tension, and celebration. There were so many incredible shots to be had, especially during the race’s climax when everything was on the line.
The crowd was just as fascinating as the race itself. You could feel the energy and anticipation in the air as fans cheered on their favorites, and capturing that energy was just as important as getting the perfect shot of the horses. It’s not something I do every day, but I loved having the chance to document a classic event like the Belmont Stakes.
Though I’m not a dedicated sports photographer, I found myself really enjoying the adrenaline of it all. It reminded me that sometimes stepping outside your comfort zone leads to unexpected moments of creativity. And who knows? Maybe I’ll do more of these high-speed events in the future!
