NYSE Photographer for Sunlands IPO
Today I was the photographer for the Sunlands IPO at the New York Stock Exchange. It has been a few years since I was back on the trading floor, and it was good to photograph another IPO on the iconic NYSE floor. I spent nearly 5 years working as the in house photographer at the NYSE and it was a great place to meet a lot of the amazing clients I work with now. It was really great to be back though and would love to cover more IPO's for future clients who go public. I've also photographed a few IPO's at Nasdaq in Times Square.

Food Photography - Romanesco broccoli
How do you walk past this incredible looking vegetable at the supermarket without buying some to bring home, photograph and eat. Romanesco Broccoli is one of the coolest looking plants on the planet. I spent a lot of time as a teenager staring with glazed eyes at fractals.

Food Photography - Blackberries
There were some incredible looking blackberries at Whole Foods that I really wanted to photograph, even though they're out of season.

Product Photography - Coca-Cola
We got a new fridge today and it seemed like a good opportunity to use it as a backdrop for some product photography. I think there's nothing with a more iconic shape in the fridge than a classic Coca-Cola bottle.
I think as a final image I would retouch the date stamp on the neck of the coke bottle.

Food Photography - Lemon Bar
One of my favorite baked treats is a Lemon Bar. It always makes it easier to photograph food when you really love the item in the photo. This photo was taken on my dining room table with a bounce card behind the Lemon Bars and a flash bounced off the wall behind. Photograph taken on a Canon 5D Mark IV with a 100mm Macro Lens wide open.

Westminster Kennel Club Portraits
The Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show is a two-day, all-breed benched conformation show that takes place at Madison Square Garden in New York Cityannually since 1877.
The Westminster show was first held on May 8, 1877, making it the second-longest continuously held sporting event in the United States behind only the Kentucky Derby, which was first held in 1875. (Both events were held even during the World War years.) The show originated as a show for gun dogs, primarily Setters and Pointers, initiated by a group of hunters who met regularly at the Westminster Hotel at Irving Place and Sixteenth Street in Manhattan. They decided to create a kennel club called the Westminster Kennel Club specifically for the purpose of holding a dog show. The prizes for these first shows included such items as pearl handled pistols, of use to the hunters and terriermen who worked these dogs in the field.
